You read that correctly, today I turned 45and I thought we should all celebrate! This year has been full of ups and downs so far. the last two months have been difficult but today I am going to celebrate. Celebrate not only that I am turning another year older but also that I have the chance to be here for this birthday.

I am still coming to terms with my illness and everything that goes along with it. I never thought I would be dealing with all of this at this age but here we are. I also never thought I would finally get beyond serious about my fitness and health. I feel as though this birthday is going to be an important one for me. I am taking the day to enjoy it with my family. Oh, just a little fyi… there is another giveaway at Wickedly Romance that is exactly the same as this one!

    Happy Birthday! I’m 45, too. My health has taken a beating the last couple of years and I also never thought I would be facing such challenges at this age.

    I’m not big on celebrating my birthday. I like to have dinner with my family with a cake is all I do.

  9. I celebrate my birthday different every year some times it’s a trip and sometimes just hanging with friends and family and pets.

  10. My birthday is actually later this week! The day before a friend is taking me t the interactive Van Gogh exhibit! On my actual birthday I’ll just curl up with popcorn and a movie and have a lazy day.

    • As to celebrating MY birthday? I wish I could celebrate it in California with my family and friends. Maybe when it comes, things will be different.

  14. My 50th is coming up and my dream is to get my closest friends and family and do a beach vacation. Fingers crossed it works out!

  17. I’d have a nice dinner at a good restaurant or get takeout, maybe do a little shopping and celebrate with family

  18. We have been home for 18 months so birthdays have been just my kids and husband. We did have cake and a special dinner I made. When this is over will see everyone and go out. My son has a heart transplant so we cant go anywhere.

  19. For my birthday I love going on a trip. Maybe it’s big (like Disneyland or Romania), sometimes it’s small (like to a local park for a picnic or to a restaurant.) Either way mom here is not cooking or cleaning that day!

  25. We always end up at disney for birthdays. We live so close its an easy evening celebration.

  26. I haven’t had a birthday party since I was 13 years of age, I would love to be able to celebrate and my wish would be to take a plane anywhere . I have never been in a plane and this is one of my biggest wishes.

    I would celebrate my birthday having a meal with my family and watching a movie together.

  35. For my birthday, I like getting up and going to get coffee at my favorite cafe. My day is spent reading and maybe a bath. Dinner is out where I want and then an ice cream cake of flavors I like. I let my hubby pamper me too.

  36. I don’t usually do much for my birthday. If I could, I would go out to eat with my hubby and maybe he’d surprise me with a birthday cake!

  39. Happy Birthday to you!! I like to go out to dinner with my daughter and my mom. Just relax at home afterward with cake and gifts. That is how I spend my birthday usually.

  48. My birthday is in October and I would love to celebrate with my friends. Due to Covid, I did not get to celebrate my birthday last year where I turned 60. So I am hoping to celebrate this year period! It has been a long time since we all got together so this would be a wonderful thing.

  54. Happy 45th Birthday! I also recently celebrated my birthday. My husband bought me beautiful roses and took me out for a lovely romantic dinner.

  55. I turn 60 and my fiancee 58 on 10/25. I would like to celebrate with a road trip to go visit family and friends and have an intimate dinner and of course cake.

  62. Happy Belated Birthday! I am not much into a big event for my birthday. I like to keep it low key and maybe have my favorite meal and some cake afterward.

  64. I would celebrate it quietly. I’m going to turn 62, and have had many different types of celebrations, and the quiet, chill out at home ones are the ones I love the most.

  66. Happy Birthday! I usually treat myself to dinner out and a movie on my birthday but haven’t done recently because of COVID. I am hoping to resume my tradition in 2022.

  69. I enjoy getting together with my family for a meal and dessert, it doesn’t have to be cake. We rarely are all together therefore it means so much when we are.

  70. I like to take the morning for myself by relaxing and reading a good book then have a nice dinner with the family.

  77. I like going to brunch with friends at the Fresh Fish Company and eating lots of shrimp and crab and mussels and getting my age percent off of the bill. Haven’t been able to do that the last 2 birthdays…..

  78. Im not a person for huge celebrations, so I usually just spend it doing something quiet, but special like a spa day!

  82. my birthday is 8/12 and i celebrated it by not celebrating it at all hehe. no fancy typical filipino birthday lunch or dinner because we were short in funds (bc of the pandemic). but if i were to imagine how i wish i would celebrate it, i would like to go on a roadtrip with my family, camp in the lake or woods and just spend good times with them.
