About the Book
Follow Petunia, the backyard hen, through a hazardous world as she discovers hidden talents, a mischievous cat named Macy and encounters all things feathered and furious.
My Thoughts
Impeccable Petunia is classified as being for middle school/young adult age children but I will say that as a 36 year old I found it to be a delightful book. Petunia is a yard chicken and the others in the coop have always seen her as different. This book also tells of the pain of being misunderstood, bravery, and true friendships. It is a book that all children should read sort of an Ugly Duckling retelling for the barnyard. It is a story that all children will relate to at some point in their lives but especially girls.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
