I don’t have a garden the way most people do. The simple reason is I tend to kill things, a “green thumb” is something I am missing. My little (and when I say little I mean a 12×5 rectangle) garden has more of a plastic vibe going on. There use to be a rose-bush in this area but it would only bloom one bud every other year or so. I felt sorry for it and dug it up, yet the little thing keeps coming back. The little lights in the front are solar-powered and glow at night. I am going to get some and put them down my walkway
This is the first of my photograph series. I began taking a new interest in scrapbooking and photographs and want to share it with all of you. I edited the photo using PicMonkey, which is this super amazing FREE editing tool
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Thanks for that link to PicMonkey! I had tried a few online pic editors, but none of them had all the features I was looking for, and PicMonkey is much easier to use overall.

I kill things too! lol Somehow I’ve managed to keep one houseplant alive for 11 years though. It must be one hardy plant. That’s all I can say. As far as a garden? I don’t ever really see that happening. I would like to grow herbs though… from my kitchen window, but I dream. lol

You (and Picmonkey) really made the colours in that shot pop; I like it! The mat and frame are a really lovely touch, too.
Hubby and I just moved into our first home coming up on 2 years ago and we’re still trying to get the lay of the land gardening-wise. Thankfully there are a lot of perennial bushes, etc. Unfortunately, neither of us are very inspired gardeners and the poor things need some pruning/deadheading love pretty badly. At least this year we learned what pruning and deadheading is, haha! 🙂 Don’t tell anyone, but I’m kind of liking the ‘wild meadow’ look that’s threatening to take over. 😛

Your garden looks pretty sad in plants but love the colorful ornaments. BUT it is still better than mine. I planted 25 strawberry plants this spring. Ho many are growing? Zero! The stray cats in the area dug up everything and used the entire area as a litter box. lol

I would love to have my own garden 🙂
