Inspire Thursday: Vat19

Sunday is Father’s Day and you may be scrambling to find the perfect gift. Well I have a little inspiration for you and it is from Vat19. Vat19 is a unique and fun company that offers so many unique gifts that just choosing one can be a difficult task.

In 2001, Vat19.com was launched to promote the sale of our line of independent DVD productions. Popular series such as the Ambient DVDs quickly opened opportunities for Vat19 to leverage its web presence beyond merely selling its own products.

In 2005, in preparation for the busy holiday season, Vat19 introduced its first non-DVD product. Its fireplace-scented candles were an instant hit with its large customer base of video fireplace customers. So, the wise sages at Vat19.com began to search the world for other, “curiously awesome” products to promote.

I was sent the Name A Star Gift Box and is the gift I am giving my father this Father’s Day. My father passed away twelve years ago and this is the perfect memorial for him. This is a great all in one gift that can be given to anyone, especially those who already have everything. You do not have to name the star for them, they can register and name the star anything they want or you can get the box, name the star, and then give them the certificate once it arrives.

When I opened the box it was full of all sorts of papers (shown above.) I first went through all of the papers to see what there is and learned that I could either mail in my registration or do it online. I chose online which is very simple and easy. You have to find your star information which is available on your Star Details Sheet (shown below) and then enter that information along with the name of your star (your choice) and the registrant’s address (which can be yours or the receivers if it is a gift.) Once that is completed you have to wait for your certificate which is what I a still waiting on. It was simple and easy.

Vat19 has much more than just the Name a Star Kit. There are gifts for her, gifts for him, for kids, even gift for the person who has everything! Vat19 has become the place I will be doing a lot of gift giving shopping this year and for many years to come. I can finally find items that I know that many of my picky relatives don’t already have.
