I had heard about Isle of Eden from several other bloggers. When I finally got the opportunity (through Mommy PR) to work with them I jumped at it. Isle of Eden is the first to bring sugar scrubs to life.Working with them was easy, I created an account (it’s free) and Isle of Eden added a voucher to that account. I then shopped for what interested me the most. I got three items:
First was the Alexa’ Sugar Cake Double Whipped Body Scrub. This stuff is more than wonderful. It’s a scrub that is a blend of three types of sugar along with pure organic oils, and Virgin Oil de Coco. Now I don’t know what type of oil that last one is but I’m guessing it’s the one that makes you want to lick yourself after using it (no I’m being gross or sexual. This stuff smells like a cake!) Once you put it on the sugar melts and turns into a rich cream but guess what? I didn’t feel greasy at all, instead my skin felt soft and fresh.
Next up was the Blood Orange Sunset Hair Detangler. Now the website doesn’t show this product anymore so it may not be carried. First thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled like cutting open a fresh orange. I have curly hair and running a comb through that mess can be painful. Spray a little of this and not only does my hair smell wonderful (even if I haven’t washed it) I can comb it without hassle.
Finally was the Amour d’Armande Bee So Soft Creme. Talk about a body cream! This smell as always is fabulous and makes you just want to eat the cream. Made with shea butter, antioxidant-rich honey, aloe, and goat’s milk. This is one cream you will want to use every single day. I keep mine hid so the kids and hubby can’t use it all up on me.
Isle of Eden has some many wonderful products and their site is easy to use and navigate. You can shop by fragrance, which include Fresh Green and Flowerbomb. you can also shop by collection which includes scrubs and customer creations. The prices are reasonable, some products are only $5.00 and free domestic shipping.
{PROS} The way these products make your skin feel.
{CONS} The smell, you may have to watch young children as they may try to eat it.
