Iwill admit I had no idea who or what RedaKai was. My son looked at me like I was stupid. In fact I mispronounced the name when I opened the package and was quickly told ” It’s RedaKai Mom. You know like Red- a pie but instead of pie it’s Kai.” Make me feel stupid why don’t you.
He had a blast with the cards and his friends were envious of the fact that he had something they didn’t yet. Even though I don’t understand what the game is or how to play he does and in the end that is all that matters.
PROS of RedaKai:
- Fun, these cards will keep them busy for hours
- My son said these were totally cool!

Cool, I feel like I've gotten a head start on knowing about the next big toy craze. Wouldn't be surprised if they're a big deal this Christmas!
I guess the Pokemon cards are over. I haven't heard of RedaKai yet, but I have a feeling my nephews will want them for Christmas.
Pokemon will always be one of the most popular card games along with yugioh and magic the gathering(being the most popular, but obviously not with the kids mainly). Redakai isn’t going to be able to compete, it’s going to be popular for a little while but then its going to die and be forgotten about, pokemon, magic and yugioh have been going on for years upon years. I dont see this sorry excuse for Japanese animation look-a-like as far as the show goes or the Japanese/American card game competing against the 3 top for long at all.
