Getting Ready for National Coffee Day

Sep 26, 2016 | Rita

get-ready-for-national-coffee-day

Did you know that Thursday, September 29th is National Coffee Day? I had no idea that coffee had its own day not that it should surprise me any. I wanted to let you all know that JCPenney is all about helping you  Raise a Cup in Anticipation for National Coffee Day! Check out some the wonderful things they have to offer.

 espresso-enthusiats

A Cup For: The Espresso Elites

Left to right above you have: OGGI™ 12-oz. Stovetop Espresso Maker, $30; Cuisinart® Stainless Steel Programmable Espresso Maker, $290; Red Vanilla Freshness Lines Espresso Cup and Saucer Set, $30; Royal Velvet® Encore Set of 4 Napkins, $80. Now I don’t know about y’all but I love cup and saucer set. It is just so cute but alas it has red and if my aunt saw it she would have to have it because her who kitchen is red. I’m not kidding either! We are talking red walls, red counters, I’m not even going to begin to tell you what that all looks like.

 craft-coffee-brewing-crew

A Cup For: The Craft Coffee Brewing Crew

Left to right above you have:  Bialetti® 1-Liter French Press, $70; Nostalgia Retro Water Kettle, $72; Certified International 6 pc Coffee Mug, $90; Lenox Chirp Bird Pattern Microfiber Napkin, $10. You know I always wanted a French Press! I have never used one before but I wonder if it makes the coffee taste better. Anyone who has used one please let me know your thoughts. The water kettle is also great because Ma likes to have a cup of instant coffee now and again. It beats making a full pot and she isn’t crazy about the single cup makers.
the-color-loving-average-joes

A Cup (of Joe) For: The Color-loving Average Joes

Left to right above you have: Keurig® K250 2.0 Compact Brewer, $175; Certified International Mix And Match Chelsea Set of 4 Mugs, $70; Homewear Siesta Medallion Set of 2 Napkins, $34. Those napkins are AWESOME! I have to get me some of those and maybe those cups. Not mention a purple Keurig®! I would be the person using it though but maybe I should get one anyway. My sister in-law needs one of them badly. They don’t drink a lot of coffee and their machine is like a hundred years old. I am certain their machine doesn’t even have the standard osha machine guarding it is so old.

on-the-go-go-getters

A Cup For: On the Go Go-Getters

Left to right above you have: Hamilton Beach® Stay or Go® Custom Pair™ Coffee Maker, $115; Honey-Can-Do® Incred ‘a Brew™, $25.99; Natico Double-Wall Stainless Steel Vacuum-Sealed Tumbler, $60. I will none of this would do much good in my home but I am certain that one of you more than likely need one or two of these items.
 pep-up-the-home-with-these-coffee-accessories

And the Rest: Pep Up the Home with these Coffee Accessories

Left to right above you have: Old Dutch International® Versailles 4-qt. Cookie Jar, $60; JCPenney Home™ World Class Coffee Rectangular Rug, $40; Metro Farmhouse By Park B. Smith® Strong Coffee Set of 2 Kitchen Towels, $20; Adult Coffee Apron, $45. I love anything farmhouse and while I’m not personally crazy about coffee decor Ma loves it.
Head over to your nearest JCPenney and check out all of these wonderful items plus anything else that might make National Coffee day one of your best days this week.

I only have a cup a week but everyone else in my home, well the adults anyway, love it. They drink several cups a day.

I love coffee but I like plain old coffee, nothing fancy. Lots and lots of cream and some sugar. I aam looking to get new coffee maker and the plain old coffee makers are tough to find!

Yeah they are getting harder and harder to find. Ma loves her plain coffee and has to have a plain maker for it.

Generally, I’m a tea drinker, but for National Coffee Day I’ll have to make an exception and start my day with a cup of java instead. I’ve got my eye on that very cool Nostalgia Retro Water Kettle, which would be great for the tea *and* coffee drinkers in the house. Will you treat yourself to a second cup of coffee for the week, or celebrate with a decaf?

That water kettle is awesome! I didn’t drink an extra cup but I did enjoy watching Ma celebrate it.
