John Deere Monster Treads Radio Control Gator

We review a lot of  toys around here and most of the time those toys are for the babies so I am thrilled to bring you something that is for the slightly older kids (or the man) in your life. So bring on the John Deere Monster Treads Radio Control Gator which is sure to get the guys excited. I actually had to keep this thing on a shelf in my closet until I was ready to try it out and write about it. The guys here in my own were going crazy for it and I knew that if I gave in and let them have I wouldn’t be able to take a single clean picture of it.  They would of had it caked in mud and no telling what else. As it was I was able to keep it clean just long enough for the pictures, then I was almost mauled over it.

To say that we were thrilled to receive the John Deere Monster Treads Radio Control Gator as you can read would be a gross understatement. This award-winning radio control Monster Treads from John Deere comes with, of course the remote control, and there is a roll bar (which I had to have an entire lesson on because well evidently I am not as smart as I thought I was) and takes 6 AA batteries as well as 1 9 V. I had the AAs but had to run to the store for the 9 Volt. This Gator  spins, somersaults, and speeds across the yard or if you happen to be a super lucky lad like my nephew, across your own dirt track in the backyard. Our backyard doesn’t have that but we do have plenty of yard space to play with this particular toy. 

I took a few turns with the Gator and I really enjoyed it. It really has  that Monster Truck vibe to it but I really like the John Deere aspect of it. In the end though the best review I could ever give is to say that we have gone through three packages of batteries so it is currently one of the most popular toys in house. When I say most popular I mean it, among both young and old alike. Even Ma has played with it a few times and given it her seal of approval.
