This blog series will take us through the book of Esther from beginning to end. I am using the English Standard Bible but please use whatever bible you are most comfortable with. I actually started with this book because of a movie. There is a big budget one ( I haven’t seen) and another called the Book of Esther which I saw recently. If you are looking for a great overview of this book then I highly suggest this movie ( you can find it on Netflix)
Prior to the movie I didn’t know much about Esther. She was a Jew who became Esther as a child and was raised by her uncle whom she called teacher. She would later become queen and save her people. As we journey through the book I will be sharing my thoughts, questions and more and I encourage you to do the same. I hope that you all enjoy this as it will be first of many to come, Lord willing. The book of Esther is fairly short at only 10 chapters. Feel free to read as much as you want as this will be a self-paced study.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Well I’m glad I can come back to these when I feel more study is needed. I am recommitting to more bible study time for December, to start, and this should help.
