This holiday season I am treating my feet extra special with shoes from Juil. There is a very good reason, actually there are a couple of very good reasons. One is that I love shoes and these are stylish and two is something my Grandmother used to tell me. She would say you will only ever have one pair of feet so take care of them.
About Juil straight from the Juil Website:
Our one-of-a-kind footwear concept dates back to February 2001 motivated by a simple desire for a shoe as comfortable as going barefoot. Years of research and development led us to recognize that barefoot comfort wasn’t enough to make our shoes unique. Reconnecting wearers to the vital, natural energies beneath their feet mattered, too.
Traditional footwear soles block the flow of these energies and insulate us in ways that can harm our wellness and wellbeing. Our exclusive Energy Flow Technology™ restores the body’s natural balance of energy by channeling the energies inherent in the earth’s surface. That’s what makes the copper conductors in our soles so special.
Enter the collaborative team that brought the Juil brand (and our concept) to life: comfort footwear professionals, design thinkers, yoga instructors and fitness experts. From the earliest prototypes to the finished products for sale today, this is the team that took Juil from concept to reality.
Juil sent me a pair of their Cap toe Flats to try out and I love the color. Most of my shoes are black, brown, or a vibrant color. I have one single pair of white shoes and no neutral color shades so these were the perfect addition to my wardrobe.
As you can see there are the copper “dots” that act as a conduit and allow me to stay truly connected and balanced. My feet swell and because I have a steel plate in the bottom of one and a rod for an ankle they tend to hurt if I am up on them for a long time. So I put these puppies to the ultimate test and wore them shopping all day.
After right hours on my feet they didn’t hurt as much as they normally would. There was still some swelling but I am sure that is more due to poor circulation in my feet than anything else. In the past I would have to sit down after about four hours before I could go on again and then when I got home I would have to put them up for the rest of the night.
I managed to get through the day without having to stop a bunch and when I got home I put them up for about an hour and was good to go. I should say that on that these run a little big so I would suggest going down a size if you are a half-size. When I first put them on they are a little big but because of the swelling they fit perfectly in about an hour.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Very cute shoes and they look comfortable. I am unsure what the copper does but they do say there is health benefits. I like the choice you made.

These are very cute. I like the idea of the copper dots helping you to stay grounded and acting as a conduit. It’s an interesting theory. I say anything that looks cute and doesn’t make my feet ache is a good thing.

These shoes look very comfortable and loving the color. I usually wear black, so with the color it would be fabulous! It’s great that helps keep you in balance.
