You all know how much I love experiencing new cultures and if I can do that within the comfort of my own home so much the better. Kitchen Table Passport actually allows you to do just that. In fact one thing that I really like was how in-depth the research was and I really loved the education that the kids got from it without realizing it.

Inside the Box
As you may have already guessed our box was for Vietnam and I am here to tell you that we loved it! The recipe card that we received was for Pho (pronounced fuh, which we learned from the included discovery card). All you do is make a broth using the spice packet that was provided and then add in noddles and beef. It was interesting and honestly now I know what the food that is shown in a lot of movies is now called and how it tastes. We also received a dragonfly that balancing on your finger or even on the corner of a flat surface. I had to actually hide this recently because it has become the cause of many arguments with the kids over whose turn to play with it is.
The silk lantern is Ma’s favorite and she has it hanging in her bedroom. She said it was simply too pretty to put anywhere else. Of course what Ma says goes so she got the the lantern. She’s right though it is very pretty and very delicate.
Final Thoughts
Kitchen Table Passport is the best way for you and your family to experience different cultures. If you are a homeschooler then I highly recommend this as an addition to your lesson plans. Also right now they have a special offer where you can experience Ireland for free. You can learn more about that here.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
