KitchenAid Mixer Giveaway

I know I shared the story behind my love of KitchenAid mixers just a couple of weeks ago. however, I thought I would share some of it again as we do this mixer giveaway. I love my KitchenAid mixer, and having one always reminds me of my grandmother. She is the one who introduced me to the luxury that is KitchenAid. At least, that’s what I used to think when I was younger. See, your particular grandmother was wealthy and had all sorts of things that we would not have had at our house.

One of the things she taught me was how to bake and cook. All of her shiny gadgets left me in awe. I loved that she would cook for herself but had a maid because cleaning was beneath her. Although she grew up with both a maid and a cook, she felt it was important that we all learn to cook for our future husbands. After all, women were meant to stay home. You can see how many of her lessons just didn’t go well with us.

One thing I can say about KitchenAid is that they know what they are doing when it comes to their mixer. In fact, I have a red and pink one because I like the colors so much. Also, having two allows me to get more done when I have to do a lot of baking. Now, if only I had multiple ovens, things would be perfect. Deciding to give a couple of these away this month couldn’t have been easier on me. I knew I was going to add in a few extra giveaways since I haven’t had that many yet this year. This was an easy way to get the task accomplished. 

I am giving away 2 KitchenAid 5 qt. mixers in whatever color the winners select. There are currently like twenty different colors to select from, and since I will be purchasing and shipping via Amazon, I decided to make this an international giveaway. As I have said, I love my mixers and I know that in years past, these have been popular with readers.

  2. The first thing that I would do is make my daughter’s strawberry cheesecake recipe and my own lemon meringue pie. I love dessert!

  4. I love this giveaway I really would like to bake more, but find that it hurts my arms and my back to mix by and or with the hand mixer so I don’t really bake as much as I would like to! So a very nice mixer like this would come in quite handy! Thanks for sharing it with me and have a spectacular week~

  7. I have always wanted one of these they look so amazing and I love anything that makes baking easier. I would use my new KitchenAid Mixer to make banana bread first.

  8. I would do SO much – I’m using my mom’s old mixer from the early 1960’s 🙂

  11. I would use it for fresh whipped cream as my cheap handmixer doesn’t seem to do it as well.

  12. We would use this primarily for making dough. Homemade dough doesn’t only tastes better, but the house smells great for hours.

  13. I would make pound cake for my family and cookies to decorate with my kids! I’m sure I’d make a lot of things with it, but those are the first things I’d do!!

  21. I am starting to make my own breads. I would use it to make breads, muffins, cakes, cookies, and of course cakes.

  25. KitchenAid is definitely the Queen of the mixer world! I do a lot of baking all the time, so it would likely be the most used appliance in the house, lol. We love to make breads and muffins and cookies!
