The holidays seem to be the busiest time of the year. Between shopping, untangling lights, wrapping (or unwrapping) and baking dozens of cookies, your regular life doesn’t press pause. You can only read so many articles on ‘holiday hacks’ before you realize that unlike the miracle of Santa getting down a chimney, there is no Christmas miracle for making the holidays less busy. You can, however, find little ways to relieve the stress and smile more. One way I’ve found is using free in store pickup and earning more points while shopping. Both Sears and Kmart offer $10 back in points when you spend $59 and free in store pickup, letting you earn more points while shopping thousands of gifts online in the comfort of your own home before picking up your items in store in 5 minutes guaranteed (or whenever you’re ready).
With in store pickup you’ll avoid lines, busy stores and the wasted time of walking down every aisle. The bow on top: You can have a friend or relative pick up your order and pay in store with cash, if you prefer. Now it’s no question that you should do your holiday shopping at Sears and Kmart while earning more points and try the free in store pickup at Sears or Kmart but there’s now a question of, what will you do with more free time over the holidays and your extra points? A few ideas include: give yourself a gift using your points before volunteering at a shelter, making gingerbread houses with the kids or simply putting your feet up and enjoying the view of the Christmas tree.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

AWESOME.. I literally just ordered some stuff from KMart and if I can get it picked up in store that would be great!!

The in-store pickup is a nice option when you don’t want to wait around for a delivery. It gives you more incentive to order online. Also, as you mentioned, the Shop Your Way points are great!

That sounds pretty convenient. I have never tried shopping with in store pick up because I have never really seen an offer with it that was potentially worth it. But I can see how the points can add up. Now to link and see if I can find something online! Thanks for letting me know.

I love this program although not all the time is the product available. I boguht a roaster and it came by mail BUT it came super fast! This makes things convenient when shopping online though.

This is great. I often hesitate from buying online because of the shipping cost. I do not mind at all going to the store to get it.

This does sound convenient! I do like to shop from the comfort of my couch, and this way no worries about package delivery.

I like the idea of in store pick up and avoiding the crowds. Also great for not hunting around the store trying to find what you want.

I did not know that Kmart and Sears has free in store pickup! That is a good thing because I was thinking of ordering a few Christmas items and this would be great to have sent to Kmart because I drive by there every week!

This has saved us so many times…I no longer drive and I have to do online shopping. My husband works near the mall area and has done pickups for me a lot. I do love Sears for so many things…especially tools! thanks for the reminder!

We have used the in-store pick up at Sears before. I didn’t know they offered it at Kmart. I also didn’t know about the $10 back when you used the in-store pick up. my husband will love this. He is always ordering from Sears. Thanks!
