Kwilt App Brings Your Photos Together

We take all sorts of pictures and post them just about everywhere nowadays. As a blogger I know that I post to various social media sites among other places. There is nothing worse than knowing that I have a picture somewhere but not being able to remember where or when I posted it. Especially if I am looking to use one for an article and know it is the perfect picture. I have spent hours looking and then get so frustrated that I actually just take another one.  Kwilt helps me keep all of those photos together and be able to find what I need when I need it.

Kwilt is a mobile app that automatically creates a personal and complete live digital photo stream. It is the first mobile app to this and it does it by gathering the users’ digital images from Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Google+, Google Drive, Dropbox, DLNA Certified® servers, iPhones and iPads. With Kwilt users are reconnected to their personal photos which are often (like mine) scattered all across the web. I must tell you that I am LOVING this app! Getting started was super easy, all I did was download the app, create my account (email and password) and then give it permission to access my various social media and phone photos and VOILA!

Kwilt solves this by streaming users’ pictures from all of their media sources chronologically (which is the method I like the best), by location or by theme using a unique cloud-indexing engine and optimized streaming technologies to ensure photos are indexed and dynamically available in real time, in one place. It is great because I can view, edit, and share photos using different criteria:

• Year, Month or Day
• GPS Location where the photo was taken
• By photo name
• Favorites and specific user created albums
• By source: Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Dropbox etc.
• Screen captures, hidden photos and more.

Isn’t that awesome? I really enjoy Kwilt because when I want to text a pic to my sister in-law I don’t have to hunt for it. Scroll through a few things and I have found it then sent it without taking the entire day. I don’t do a lot of screen captures but I am forever looking for a photo that I took and posted or that a family member or friend took and sent to me.
