Introducing Land O’ Frost Wrap Kits! Each kit includes meat, cheese and tortillas. It’s all the ingredients needed to make a tasty snack or a delicious dinner. Available in four kits the choices can be simple, or mix ‘em up for some real pizzazz. Choose from Black Forest Ham & Swiss, Oven Roasted Turkey and Pepper Jack, Chipolte Turkey and Cheddar or Roast Beef and Cheddar.I grew up eating Land O’ Frost lunch meat. My dad always got it for our sandwiches because the packs were bigger than the other lunch meat brands for the same price and lets face when you are feeding a family of six you have to make every cent count.
TESTING Land O’ Frost Wrap Kits:
For our review we tried the Black Forest Ham and Swiss and the Oven Roasted Turkey and Pepper Jack. Hands down the Black Forest Ham and Swiss stole the show. We had these as additions to come soup we were having as opposed to the traditional grilled cheese.
My husband found these easy enough to make that he would make them for himself. It requires very little effort. The meat is positioned on sleeves where you just peel it off and place it on the tortilla, add the pre-sliced cheese and place in the microwave for about thirty seconds.I didn’t place mine in the microwave because well at our house we LOVE tortillas and heat them on the stove top. I use a griddle on top of the stove and heat the tortillas, then I added the meat and cheese. If your tortilla is warm enough you don’t have to heat the cheese and meat.
PROS of Land O’ Frost Wrap Kits:
- Easy to put together. Your kids could handle this on their own
- 230 calories in each one. The count goes up when you add more items to your wrap.
- Company and brand that I grew up with and trust
CONS of Land O’ Frost Wrap Kits:
- There is only enough for 5 wraps in each kit so we have to buy several.
