About the Book:
The first book in the John Stauber & Linda Lavaque Murder Mysteries Series.
Something went terribly wrong that night in Duluth, Minnesota.
The call came at 3:12 in the morning: The Mayor, her husband and son found brutally murdered in their lakeside mansion. The police have no motive that makes any sense.
“This kind of thing just does not happen here.” John Stauber kept thinking. The daughter of the murdered family was begging for his help.
But he wasn’t a cop anymore and this was strictly police business. Besides, as a recent mental patient he was in no shape to help anyone, not even himself.
My Thoughts:
I must admit that when Mr. Parr asked me to review Latent Lives I jumped at it. Although I did intend to have my review up much quicker. I am so glad that I read this book. I love a good detective story and a little Science Fiction is appreciated Mr. Parr has created characters that really grip you. You want to read to the end to find out what is going to happen. The entire story line is simply superb. I can’t wait for the next one.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
