Less Time Doing Dishes Thanks to Dawn Power Clean

I was recently sent Dawn Power Clean (AVAILABLE IN: Refreshing Rain™ and Vibrant Fresh™ scents.) to try out, and just fell in love with it.  I love to cook and spend time in the kitchen but I HATE the cleanup. We have a dishwasher but I don’t use it because to be honest I can wash 4 plates and a few pots and pans much quicker and use less electricity and water.  If you have ever cooked Mexican food the you know the mess it can leave and the ring that beans always leave in the crock pot is a mystery to me.  Many nights, I have spent this time scrubbing away at dishes and pots, only to have food remain.  When this happens, I end up leaving the pots and dishes in the sink to soak overnight, only to get up the next morning and begin scrubbing again or I put some water in and put them back on the stove only to burn myself when I stick my hand in to clean.
However, with Dawn Power Clean I can finally say that I will not wasting time scrubbing away at dishes, or not cooking favorite meals that I know will stick on pots/pans.  Dawn Power Clean is a miracle worker all it takes is a little squirt,  wait 5 minutes for it to work, and finally a quick wipe of the pots/pans/dishes, leaving them sparkling and clean.   I know, I didn’t expect to have this product work so great, but after repeated use this past week, I have not had to soak my pots/pans/dishes overnight anymore.  What’s even better is I now get out of the kitchen and into the action with my family in less time. I have spent less time doing dishes in the past week than I have in all the years I have been married.
 As a result of spending less time scrubbing my dishes, I can now begin to tackle other cleaning much more efficiently. In fact I can be completely done in the kitchen within 10 minutes. Here is my rundown of what I take the time to do while I wait the five minutes for the Dawn Power Clean:
  • Wipe down the stove  (1 minute)
  • Wipe the front of the cabinets with a wet cloth (1 minute)
  • Use a wet mop  and do a once over of the floor (1 minute)
  • Wipe out the fridge because the kids always manage to spill things (1 minute)
  • Gather the trash for my son to take out if needed (1 minute)

 

Now once the 5 minutes has passed I use the last 5 minutes to:

  • Wipe and rinse the dishes (2 minutes)
  • Dry and put all the dishes away (3 minutes)

 

 

With these few steps, I only spend only 10 minutes after dinner in the kitchen and I  know my kitchen is always clean if and unexpected guest shows up. Try it for yourself and let me know if it works for you, too.

  4. Thank you for the review. I had seen this product but was not sure if it worked any better than regular dawn. I agree with you on the dishwasher. My hubby sees me doing dishes by hand and says “you know we have a dishwasher right?”. I can get them done quicker.
