Each month this year I thought I would take a few minutes to catch you all up on the things that are currently going on in our lives whether it be personal or within my blogging life. Although there will be plenty of posts talking about all of that I just felt that this would be a great way to catch everyone up. Sort of like a summary post if you will.
In My Blogging Life
This has been a bit full lately. I had a HUGE meltdown a couple of weeks ago and nothing worked. It took me a full weekend to get things back up and running and I am still finding issues with things. There are few little adjustments that I had planned for this month but it is looking more like they will be put off until next month while me and my IT person go through everything to see if it is fixed. On top of that I am planning this year’s holiday gift guide and the end of the year summary. Better to have things planned than let them sneak up on me.
In My Personal Life
For me I am still recovering from my health issues and doing better than expected. I do have some days, like Friday, that really take the wind out of sails when I over do it but I am getting there. I have some shoulder pain still but that is due to over use and far too much time spent typing which won’t be ending any time soon. However all in all things have been alright.
In the Kids and Family’s Lives
The kids and the Shady Pines residents are all doing wonderfully I am pleased to tell you. They are driving me up a wall which I am certain what they aim to do daily. It’s funny there was a time when I would have been certain that having this many people in my life daily would have been the last thing on Earth I would have wanted. Now though I can’t imagine my life without them in it.

I’m glad to read that things are mostly doing well. As an older lady, let me warn you about something—allow plenty of time for health issues and injuries to heal! Those have a way of sneaking back as you (cough!) get older.

happy to hear that you are doing better than you expected. I hope you continue to improve.

I am also happy to hear you are doing better. My 74 year old Mom lives with my husband and kids so I can understand your comment of driving you up the wall. I certainly have days if not weeks like that.

I am glad that you are doing good and you are busy with your family and blog. Life is busy for me too and helping to take care of others can be so tiring. But I love my family!
