Life Without Plastic Review

As part of my effort to go green in my home I have been looking for alternatives to plastic products that my family uses on a daily basis. You know what I am talking about, all those plastic storage containers, bags, etc. So anytime I come across a company that allows us to be more green I am thrilled. Life Without Plastic is one of those marvelous companies. Life Without Plastic started in 2006 and has some of the truly great products that I love and many more that I will be purchasing as I steer my family and home into a more Eco-aware lifestyle.

I was sent the Freezycup Stainless Steel Individual Ice Pop Mold to review and I am loving it. It came with a couple of wooden sticks and using it is simple as you can imagine. You simply pour in your favorite juice or yogurt and stick it (no pun intended) into the freezer. Once the liquid has frozen you have a flavorful and good for you popsicle. I also love that you simply was and reuse it. The thing I don’t like is there is there was only one as I have two kids which someone has to wait for the theirs a bit. On the day I did the pictures above the kids had drunk all the juice so I used cola., a word of advice, don’t fill it to the top when using cola because it may fizz out in the freezer

Life Without Plastic has so many different items for food storage that I will have to spend a whole afternoon deciding what we will need and what I just simply want. I am sure this time next month my kitchen will be much more green and I will feel great knowing that I am doing my part to ensure an Earth for future generations.
