If you have been with me for any length of time you know that I have several bibles and have reviewed several over the years. Today I am bringing you some King James Version (KJV) Bibles from Lifeway that are simply amazing. I have a great giveaway for y’all to enter as well.

The King James Version has been the trusted translation for millions for over 400 years. Christians have turned to this version since 1611. In fact, this is most likely the version of your first bible as well. The translations for the KJV began in the beginning of the 1600s with the top scholars of the day working on it.

This KJV Ultra Thin Reference Bible is my mother’s favorite. She loves that this bible is small and light so she can easily pick it up.

It has a leather touch cover that makes a bible that will stand the test of time. In my opinion if you are giving a teen or an adult a first bible this is the perfect version to give them.

Like I said, it’s lightweight and it won’t overwhelm them. you can be sure that this is the bible they will use for years to come. I know that just sounded like a late night commercial didn’t it? Ma has just recently started reading the bible again and I had gotten her a different translation.

Let me tell you I won’t make that mistake again. She told me I bought her the wrong bible. that was nothing like the one she had for years. One look and feel of this one and she said this was what a bible was suppose to look, feel, and read like.

If you have kids or are a Sunday school teacher I highly recommend getting the One Big Story Bible. I is one that you will use of years and the one I have begun using my classes. both the ones at home as well as the ones at church.

The pages are colorful and children learn reading form the KJV of the bible. I love the Big Questions section as well as everything this bible brings to the table. I could teach strictly form this bible if I wanted to.

For me, a study bible is the way to go. That is why the Holman KJV Study Bible ended up on my shelf in the house. Now, this is a thick bible but it if full of information to help make your bible study one to remember.

The cover is bonded leather so it looks and feels like the bibles you are used to getting. It would fit beautifully in a cover and I think I will getting my brother one of these this year.

There are plenty of pictures and other information that will aid you in your study of the bible. I have found that helps me more than anything. It gives me a better understanding and brings the whole bible to life for me.
