I told you all that I had a really amazing coloring book review coming and that book came from Lily & Val. If you haven’t heard of them then you are not alone. I had not hear of them either until I stumbled across them and I am so thrilled that I did. Everything has the artwork of Valerie McKeehan and let me tell you it is so pretty.
I got the Chalk-Style Botanicals Adult Coloring Book which is so beautiful all by itself. The first few pages are work already completed by Valerie and her style and color usage is awesome.
Then comes the pages that you can color and while I would love to say I colored some I didn’t. Ma has a serious coloring addiction in that she does ten or more books a month. She colors so much her hands hurt sometimes. I will be getting her the other coloring books from Lily & Val soon because I know that she enjoyed this one. Each of the uncolored pages also has a quote on the back. If the coloring book is not your thing there are zippered pouches over there that I know I will be purchasing for gifts. I think all the ladies in the family one love one for Christmas this year. Don’t worry chicas if you are reading this now, there will more than just a zippered pouch and if you have a preference be sure to let me know.

These are really beautiful! I have given coloring books to several friends this past year and they have loved them. These look really different – hope I can find them in my area.
You should be able to find them at their online store with no problem. They are different than any I have seen so far.
I got some adult coloring books for Christmas and I’ve been coloring often in my free time. I recommend these for people who need help to wind down.
Ma says she loves them. They really help mellow her out which is something she needs.
Adult coloring books relax me so much right before I go to bed. I usually get mine at Michaels.

What lovely things at Lily & Val! In particular, I love the Keepsake Kitchen Diary. It would make a fabulous gift for someone starting out in a new house or getting married. I must remember that!
I’ve been thinking about trying the whole coloring thing for stress relief, and browsing the books for this. I have never seen one with such beautiful pages as this one!
