I will admit that when I was searching NetGalley for some food related books the title, Little Bites: 100 Healthy, Kid-Friendly Snacks, caught my attention. I really need kid-friendly snacks that aren’t full of sugar. After all who doesn’t? Any book that can make my kids happy is a keeper in my opinion.

 

When you’re on the go with little ones, snacks are essential. This is so much more than just 100 recipes! It is full of information such as tips on having a well stocked pantry which by the way I don’t have and need. I loved learning about the Dirty Dozen and the Clean Fifteen which I didn’t know a single thing about and has completely changed the way I shop in the produce department now. Not to mention the best way to eat on the go which is something we all do from time to time. The recipes are awesome! My kids two favorites so far is the Yogurt-Granola Cups with Homemade Cherry Sauce and the Roasted Sesame Peas.

  2. I have two kids who are involved in sports. We are always needing snacks for between things but healthy options. This would probably have some great choices to consider.

  3. This book sounds perfect! Snacks that are healthy, appealing and just enough are special and just what kids need, it looks like it has great photos, too. This would make a nice holiday gift, too.
