How would you like to work your TV from your phone or search using a keyboard? We have streaming and there is nothing worse than looking for a movie and using that crazy keyboard on the search where you have to move the cursor one space at a time. I don’t have to do that now because thanks to Best Buy I have the Logitech Harmony!
The Harmony Smart Keyboard delivers the full Harmony control experience for TV-connected Internet and home entertainment devices. Which means when I want to search for Blechly Circle I can type in and not take an hour! I really love that I can use the keyboard via long or short presses and do everything from turning the channel to selecting a movie to watch. The specially designed keyboard simplifies text entry on internet-connected entertainment devices. Touch the “Movie” Activity button and the right devices switch to the right settings. Plus, it has integrated DVR and set-top box controls, playback and volume buttons, and a touchpad for cursor control on a PC or Mac.
Setting everything up was very easy all I had to do was plug everything into the television, download the app (I downloaded it to my iPod) and follow the instructions in the app. I set up my television and my Blu-Ray player. I didn’t set up my cable box because I didn’t want the entire family playing around. They would tear up a clock. The Harmony Hub (shown above) is great because I can put it inside my cabinet and it will still work.
I love the app because when the television is blaring and I am working or the twins are sleeping then I can use it to turn down the television from my desk or the doorway of the bedroom. I no longer have to yell “Turn it down!” There is a lot to love about the Logitech Harmony! Some of the other features are:

This is so sweet! I know my son is going to want it as soon as he see’s it. We have Logitech Remotes for our TV’s and they are awesome! Logitech is great quality products.
I completely agree! Those search features on streaming media devices are frustrating. This seems like a great alternative. Normally, I just look it up on the vendor’s web site and if they have it, then I search for it through the search feature on the device.
I love it and I know someone that would love this even more and he has a birthday coming up and he would flip out if I gifted him this..thanks for the info.
This is so awesome I have the hardest time searching on my TV. I wonder if it works with AT&T Uverse. I sounds universal like it would work with most cable boxes.
