LongHorn Grill Us Hotline is Back !

You read that correctly! The LongHorn Grill Us Hotline is back again and it time for you to get some unique summer grilling recipes so you can impress your family and friend with you backyard cooking skills!  They have some awesome recipes for things like Grilled Peach Cobbler, Pepper Crusted Filet and Shrimp, Grilled Corn on the Cob and Grilled Pineapple Coconut Margarita.

Some sample tips include:

1. Don’t be shy when seasoning your steak! Try “The Big 4” – salt, pepper, granulated onion powder and garlic powder.

2. Use tongs. Poking or picking up your steak with a fork or knife will let the juices and flavor out.

3. Let your steaks rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to settle back into the meat, resulting in optimal flavor.

LongHorn Grill Us Hotline

On Sunday, May 29, LongHorn will be opening its Grill Us Hotline to help grillers start the season on the right foot. Here are a few details:

 

  • Phone: Dial 1-855-LH-GRILL (1-855-544-7455) to be connected to a Grill Master on Sunday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
  • Text: Text GRILL to 55702 to get expert grilling tips and recipes as well as how-to demonstration videos all summer starting May 24 through September 5. (Up to 2 msgs per month. Txt HELP for help or STOP to end. Msg&data rates may apply. Msgs may be sent from 55702 using autodial system. Consent not required to purchase property, goods, services).
  • Social: Get your questions answered by a Grill Master via Facebook and Twitter on Sunday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.

    I had no idea there was a grill hotline. That’s a pretty good idea, actually! (I love grilled corn. by the way. Great recipe!)

    Oh the corn on the cob looks so good! We have never tried that on the grill before. Will have to try that this weekend! Great tips on grilling! I didnt know to let them sit for a few minutes after they are done!

    my dad always did the grilling, so I’ve never done it myself. my fiance and i are getting a grill though so this will be useful!

    This look delicious. Being in Iowa, I appreciate good sweet corn. It is getting a bit past BBQ season here, but this is still doable. I froze some sweet corn, and my have to give this a go.
