Love Advice From Tommy Torres #QueridoTommy

As you all know I listen to a variety of music. Honestly I do, everything from classical to rap and lots in between.  Since marrying my husband I have discovered Latin music and I will tell you there are some lyrics that make a woman weak int he knees! I have very recently discovered Grammy Winner Tommy Torres. Let me tell you here is a man who knows how to talk to a woman.

Tommy received a letter from a fan, Paco, who was in love with a girl.  Paco wrote telling Tommy how in love he was with this girl, how he was dying for her. In fact Paco wrote two letters to Tommy. Tommy responded in a song saying that he was no expert in love but to tell the girl that he was dying for her and loved her. Tommy shared the story via Twitcam and then later shared the song, Querido Tommy, online through social media. I don’t care who you are or what language you speak hearing a guy did all that just to figure out how to tell you he loved you would make any woman melt.

Can you imagine how Paco must have felt? I mean lets face it guys don’t usually write to singers asking for advice on how to say I love you. Maybe on how to pick up woman but nothing heartfelt. Then to get a response not in a letter but through a song, telling you that you honestly already have the words. Can you imagine being the girl? I want to be her! To know that a man loves you so much that he is willing to suffer ridicule if need be, because to be honest Tommy could have just as easily wrote a song about some crazy guy.

Just who is Tommy Torres? Well you probably have already heard some of his music and just don’t know it yet. In fact the Puerto Rican born, Tommy, has done a little of it all in music. He has gone from producer to composer and arranger to singer-songwriter. He has written and produced songs for Ricardo Arjona, Ednita Nazario, Alejandro Sanz, Alicia Keys, and Ricky Martin. He has won several awards including  a Grammy and his music is just simply beautiful. That is the only way I know how to describe it! The music just makes me feels something deep in my soul.
