Have you watched Outlander on Starz as of yet? If you have not then I am here to tell you that you don’t know what you are missing! I have fallen completely in love with this show. I don’t even set the dvr to watch I actually work my Saturday schedule around it coming on so I can see each episode as it airs!
For those of you living under a rock (just kidding) and haven’t yet heard about Outlander let me tell you a bit about it. It is based on the international best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon and takes place in Scotland. Claire Randall, a married combat nurse, falls through time. She falls from 1945 to 1743 where she is forced to learn to live where she is while she figures things out. Claire has a passionate affair and is torn between her lover and her husband (pick Jamie!!!) Two vastly different men from two vastly different eras.
While I would love to say that the scenery is what drew me in to the series and the acting which by the way is brilliant I think it was more the character of Jamie. He is what every woman wants a man to be and is played by Sam Heughan who as you can above is not to shabby on the eyes. He can call Sassanach any day of the week!
Claire is played by Caitriona Balfe and I must say that she does a wonderful job at making Claire come to life. She is very believable and has the same strength that is the very essence of Claire. Frank/Jack Randall is played by Tobias Menzies and I must say that I hate Frank! Mr. Menzies does a wonderful job but Frank as a character I just don’t like. I mean he and his wife just endured a separation of years because a war, they go on a second honeymoon, and all he wants to do is check out his family history.
If you haven’t seen a single episode of Outlander you can already start streaming the first two episodes on Starz online, and then watch them again TV every Saturday at 9pm (EST) on Starz. Be sure you check you local listings. You can even connect with fellow fans and enter to win a walk on role on the Outlander Facebook page.
Have you watch the first two episodes so far? What do you think?

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
