Loving WellsLock

Mar 28, 2019 | Rita

I have a bit of a plastic fetish. I love getting new plastic ware but the problem none of it has ever lasted that long. Most of it didn’t do the rick of keeping food fresh at times either. So when I discovered Wellslock I knew I wanted to give them a try. I have been in the middle of attempting to reorganize everything in the house and the food storage needed some work.

Wellslock was founded in 2009 with the drive to create sustainable, earth-friendly products. Not to mention high-quality and if you ask me I will tell you they have achieved that. They have patents in nine countries and patents pending in over 30 other countries. Their containers use lids which slide into place with a single tab locking system.

Wellslock

WellsLock sent me their 22 Piece Set Locking Food Containers with Lids and I knew right away what I wanted to use it for. I have several items in my cabinets that needed to be organized. First let me show how beautiful and simple this set is.

It includes the following sizes:

  • Two square containers 1.06 cups/ 250mL with lids (4.25 L x 4.25 W x 1.77 H inch)
  • One square container 1.35 cups/ 320mL with lid (4.25 L x 4.25 W x 2.17 H inch)
  • Two square containers 1.99 cups/ 470mL with lids (4.25 L x 4.25 W x 2.95 H inch)
  • Two rectangle containers 2.12 cups/ 500mL with lids (6.30 L x 4.33 W x 2.17 H inch)
  • One square container 3.51 cups/ 830mL with lid (5.51 L x 5.51 W x 2.91 H inch)
  • One rectangle container 4.65 cups/ 1100mL with lid (6.30 L x 4.33 W x 4.33 H inch)
  • One rectangle container 5.20 cups/ 1230mL with lid (7.48 L x 5.51 W x 2.91 H inch)
  • One rectangle container 10.58 cups/ 2500mL with lid (8.66 L x 6.30 W x 4.33 H inch)
Tea in Wellslock

While I do use some of them for food storage in the fridge I use some for organization as well. Since they are see through I can see just what is in each container. Although as you can in the picture that I labeled the tea. That is so no one accidentally drinks mine.

Wellslock in the fridge

The containers are refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, and microwaveable-safe. I love that and they will stack nicely anywhere. The lids are easy empty it it makes staking them together for storage easier. I love that there isn’t a ton of water in them when I take them out of the dishwasher. I hate having to dump that water out of the lids and cups that always seem to end up turned around in there.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Wellslock is a brand that create not only functional products that I need but also beautiful ones. I love how they look in my cabinet and how easy they are to use. I need to buy a couple of more set so that I have plenty because I can just see these walking home with family and friends when they visit.

this looks like a really nice set! I also like the fact that they can stack neatly for storage or in the fridge or cabinets.I had not heard of this brand before, and will have to check them out as i am always looking for kitchen organization items.

These look really nice and sturdy. I have the cheap flimsy containers and I don’t care for them at all.

I’ll be checking out this brand as well…as I’m tired of the plastic containers I’ve been dealing with. ALso, sorry for the all caps…there is something wrong with my keyboard…it wasn’t done on purpose.

These look like excellent storage containers. I love the way the lids slide on. I like to make some of my meals ahead of time and freeze them, so these would be very useful for me!
