Lowe’s Black Friday Deals

I don’t about y’all but I can’t wait for Black Friday this year! Mostly because I have a list of things that I need from Lowe’s a mile long it seems. I have been adding things to this list for the last couple of months figuring I could get some of my home improvement projects done before Christmas.

A few years ago they had light bulbs on Black Friday for a dollar a piece and I was able to get a number of them for the house. I have just started buying them again. This year I have a secret weapon with it comes to my Lowe’s Black Friday Deals. That secret weapon is Slickdeals and boy are they the best thing I have ever discovered! At least I think they are.

So Many Projects

We are still in the process if redoing our kitchen so I need to find the best prices possible. I helped my brother redo his kitchen floor when I was there and let me tell you the tile we found at Lowe’s was so pretty. I’m thinking of using something similar in my kitchen. I forgot to take a before picture but his floor before was that basic white linoleum that you see in most kitchens.

I’m hoping I can find it on Slickdeals and get a great Black Friday deal on it. of course that is just one item on my list. I need a new door handle that I am also hoping to find on sale. My brother switched the handle (from his house to his garage) to one of those keypad ones and I am jealous! When I was there bringing in groceries it was so much easier to punch in a code and get in. I could never get the key to work right in that dang door.

On top of those items I also need to get the last bathroom redone before I start on the bedrooms. Once those are done we are planning on redoing the living room and my office. I have big plans for my office so when I am shopping for the best deals and coupons this Black Friday I will be thinking ahead and getting everything I may need that is on sale.

All the Tools

I have a few people on my gift list that love tools and as you can see by the image above there are some pretty good deals. I know many of you are thinking that buying gifts at Lowe’s may be nuts. Who buys tools? Well let me tell you I do. My father was a mechanic in the service and we always bought him tools. He had a basement full of tools when I was growing up.

The first Christmas present I bought him when I got my first job was a set of tools at Lowe’s. He had been in there getting something he needed for a home project and I found him looking at set of tools that he liked but didn’t get. He had said they weren’t in the budget at the time.

When I did my shopping for Christmas that year I went straight to Lowe’s and got him those tools. I remember they weren’t in my budget either and I had to skip lunch for two months to be sure I had enough money but I still got them. He loved them and still had them when he passed away years later. In fact, I now have that very tool set.

Under $25?

One of the best things about Lowe’s is that you can find gifts and items for under $25. I’m not talking about a gift card or paint brush either. Although my sister in-law would love a paint brush this year! I will tell you that hammer in that picture above is a great deal. I have one but I need another one because the handle on mine broke.

Okay, I might have gotten frustrated and thrown it across the yard. It might have hit and tree but well there were no witnesses so who’s to say that actually happened.
