When Edgar and I got together the first thing my brothers wanted to know if he spoke like Ricky Ricardo. The funny thing is that even though he doesn’t (sometimes..he does) we have had plenty of Lucy and Ricky moments over the years. I hunted on You tube to find the ones that would best described some of our moments and wanted to share them with you.
This is the episode when Lucy meets her Mother in-law. While my moment wasn’t exactly like this it was very similar. She speaks no English at all and my Spanish is less than perfect. So this moment was hard on both of us.
This happens ALOT with us. Edgar has to translate all the time for me. I try really hard but when they speak fast I have a hard time making out all the words and putting them all together.
This is one of my favorite episodes because it describes us often. He always makes fun of my “Southern ” Spanish and I make fun of his English.
As much fun of one another as we make I wouldn’t trade him for all the money in the world. Even when I can’t understand a word he is saying it’s still the sweetest words to me.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

That was just beautiful! and I love that show. Amazing how after all these years it can still make us laugh.
I am hosting another giveaway for Baby Tone DVDs….and thought you might be interested. It is a great gift for a new mom who would love to workout with their baby while bonding. Would love it if you could stop by! http://getittogetherdomina.blogspot.com/2011/10/baby-tone-dvd-giveaway.html
