I came in the house recently and thought “Oh my God my house stinks.” Some of that is the fact the dog needed a bath. Not to mention my uncle sleeps on the couch and only baths like once a week. It is just nasty sometimes! I know admitting all of that makes me seem gross and I swear I am not. Yes the dog can get a bad but body odor and some of the other smells aren’t that easy to get rid of. Thanks to Luma Comfort though we are breathing cleaner air.
We received the AP400W Air Purifier to review and the first thing I liked about it is the fact that it can handle a large open space like ours. I placed it in our living room and as you can see the design is very sleek. It would go with any decor. Our living room, dining room, kitchen, and my office area is all one large open room so it is pretty big. The AP400W can handle up to 400 square feet so I knew it would have no problem clearing the air in this much space. As I said the design is sleek and it really is not that wide. We first place it next to the dining room table but then I moved it into the living room because my uncle sleeps on the couch and let’s just say it needs all the help it can get.
This purifier has a 5 stage purification system and removes airborne pollutants such as dust, pollen, odors, mold among others. It also has a UV light that destroys and inhibits the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria. There are three settings and I keep our’s on the lowest fan setting all day. We use the UV light about twice a week for about an hour. There is a timer so you can set it to shut off for you.
We immediately noticed a change in the air quality. Where I would have to open the doors and windows just to breathe I can breathe much more easily now. I was concerned about the cost of running it all the time but I just got my light bill and it actually went down $40 this month (we didn’t have to run the heat as much.) So it didn’t make any sort of a difference in electrical costs. This is a great product and I would suggest it to anyone. If you have allergies or small children this is a must have in your home.

I would love to have one of these for my bedroom. It is nice to know that you didn’t have a change in your electric bill by using this all day.
My sister needs one of these super bad! She has bad allergies and is always complaining that her house feels musty from all the rain. I don’t notice it but she is always saying she needs a air purifier. I will have to tell her to check this brand out.
It would be nice to have one of these. My son has allergies. I like the sleek look of it and love that there is a timer so you can set it to shut off the UV.
