What is the one thing you live about nice hotels? It’s their pillows and linens, right? It is for me and I haven’t found anything up to that standard for my home. Then I discovered Swanky Outlet who specialize in name brand discontinued or overstock bedding and linens. That’s right, name brand but without the big name brand prices.
I received the Hotel Collection Chevron to review and I have really been enjoying it. If you follow me on This Faithful Life then you know I have been resting for a few days and this blanket has given me comfort. It is not super thick but is very warm and luxurious. It fit my bed perfectly. I have a true queen size bed. However for some reason finding linens in that size is getting harder. Most are full/queen which are too small. Not this blanket, it was just right.
I love the neutral color too because in January I am planning on revamping my room but I am not sure about the colors yet. I keep my room pretty cold at night because I get hot easily when I am wrapped up too much. On the nights that it was mucho chilly I was afraid I would need another blanket but I didn’t. I stayed warm enough and to be honest on the days I wanted to lay on the couch I brought this blanket with me. Yes it was that nice and toasty under it and I dragged it like a child from the bedroom to the living room whenever I felt like it. T be honest I dragged it, wrapped around me to the kitchen when I wanted something to eat as well. It was a comfort thing and this blanket made me feel secure the way I did as a child when something went wrong and that’s okay.

This looks like a nice blanket. I have an obsession with comforters and blankets. I have different ones for early Spring, Spring, Summer, Fall, Mid Winter, Winter, etc. You get the idea. Part of the reason is I am always cold at night and my husband is always hot. So I am always looking for just the right blanket and comforter. I also have a hard time finding ones that are the right size. Too many run way to small. I have heard of Swanky Outlet. I need to check them out.
This sounds like that perfect go-to blanket. I like to have a cover on all year. I use a light blanket in the summer with a sheet alone. And then under my comforter in the winter as an extra layer of warmth. Hope you feel better soon.

On cold chilly days it is nice to have a good blanket and this one looks nice and toasty. I can picture you now taking the blanket around with you all around. On certain days I do the same :). Keep warm Rita and let us see the room when you change it up. 🙂

It’s nice to have a place that has linens and pillows that are hotel quality. To be honest, I never really cared for the hotel pillows, but it’s hard for me to sleep anywhere but home. The pillows are so soft that I would often need more than one to prop my head up. I would really like to find some hotel quality shower liners.
The blanket looks so cozy. I have been sleeping on a contoured memory foam pillow for so long now I really prefer this type of pillow over the standard ones. However I can do use the standard pillows when I travel and most of the time the ones the hotels have are pretty good.
I like light blankets that are light weight and warm. I get cold very easily some days and like to cuddle under a blanket but I don’t want a huge blanket.
I love quilts and blankets I have so many of them..you can never have too many!
Beautiful! We are working on our home, too. We bought an older home and still have a lot to redo. I also haven’t decided on bedroom colors, but I know I would love to have new bedding.
Its a cold one here in Ohio and is going to get colder nexf week. I sure could use a new blanket and sheets too. I have been to Swanky Outlets website before and they do have lots of great items at awesome prices. Stay warm and think good thoughts. Have a great weekend Rita. .

I have heard of Swanky Outlet before and they do carry some pretty great collection. It is nice to know the blanket you got is comfortable. Gotta have soft and comfortable blankets when resting at night.
