Disclosure: I was selected as a #DisneySide blogger and received items in exchange for hosting the party. However all ideas and opinions are 100% my own.
You may have remembered that we were throwing a Disney at Home Celebration. Well we did and it was a ton of fun, in fact even putting this party together was fun. Disney sent us items for the party (I show it all in this post) but we decided to go a little different route (in this post) and do a Mad Hatter party! That meant having to find items for our party that would work.
Once we had everything we needed we had to decide on food and more. I thought a lunch time tea party would fit the bill and having sandwiches would be best. Let’s face it the kids really weren’t concerned about the sandwiches anyway. All they wanted was the bunny (more in a bit!) I did a chicken salad sandwich but instead of mayo I used Ranch dressing. Kids are more likely to eat Ranch dressing than mayo and I did a Ham Salad. I kept both simple, no relish or anything else that the kids might not like. I cut the bread in the shape of teacups and teapots which were a huge hit. There was nothing left.
We also had salsa that I made but I must tell you that I pureed it so it would not be so chunky for the kids. We also had red velvet cupcakes with little chocolate hearts on some and heart rings on others.
I told you the kids wanted the White Rabbit, well that is because he was a pinata and full of goodies. Here are some other pictures of the day! All in all we had a blast and the Disney party supplies was raffled off in our Disney Bingo game!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

How cute and fun! I love the decorations! I’ll have to try ranch dressing in a chicken salad sandwich that sounds good!

What a darling idea for a Disney party. My girls always go first for the Disney princesses but Mad Hatter is an excellent theme! I love the little “eat me” sign on your salsa and the cutout sandwiches the best.
