There are days when I really don’t feel like cooking and if you follow my food blog you know that I am not above giving the kids Mac and Cheese for dinner. However thanks to MagicKitchen.com I have found a way to have good, wholesome, healthy foods without spending all day in the kitchen. That is important when I have spent most of the day working on posts or in town and the day gets away from me.
MagicKitchen.com sent me some of their wonderful gourmet prepared meals to try out and I must tell you that I was so pleased. First of was the Carrot Cake from their Desserts Menu because I always eat dessert first. Okay maybe not always but I could not wait to try this. It was so good and while I was tempted to not share a single piece with anyone else I did split it with everyone and have been craving carrot cake since then.
The Chicken Pot Pie is their best seller and it is easy to see why. This is a large pot pie, if you have ever bought one of the frozen ones you know that sometimes you have eat two to feel full. Not with this one though there is shredded chicken and hearty veggies. It would be perfect on a cold night.
The Salt and Pepper Short Ribs are divine! I enjoyed these a lot but to be honest like the cake I have been craving more. They are flavorful, juicy, and tender. These are something I will be ordering later in the year for a family get together or maybe in the next couple of weeks just for myself.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
