Meet Bubi Bottle

Feb 25, 2019 | Rita

Okay, I freely admit that when it comes to bottles and cups I have a bit of a problem. I am always on the lookout for new ones. I can’t seem to help myself. They are so much fun. I have found a bottle that is perfect for my diaper bar or even my senior bag. It is called Bubi Bottle and they have some items that will knock your socks off.

First I need to explain what my senior bag is, I promise to be quick. Since I care for my aging mother and uncle I have a bag just for those trips out with me. It is awesome and I keep their meds, drinks for them, my stuff, medical notes, and so much more in there. I can toss in a few diapers and am good to go. There are two side pockets for drinks but you will see how much better my bag becomes with a Bubi Bottle on it.

I stumbled across Bubi Bottle one day when I was surfing the web and knew right away hat I wanted to work with them. So I decided to learn more about them. While I could explain who they are and what they do I think they describe themselves the best.

About 8 years ago, I was frustrated walking around NYC with the inconvenience and waste of refillable waterbottles. On a sailing trip from NY to St Thomas USVI, we hit a storm35 knot winds and 30 foot waves, which combined broke the boom on the boat, taking on 40 gallons of water ever 6 hours and the refrigerator died with six days of the journey left, It was that night that I came up with the concept of a rounded bottom for a bottle. Came back and we sat down to come up with a solution that would begin to target the pressing problem of plastic waste. Our goal was to offer a useful, convenient alternative that would make it easy for people to make the switch to a more environmentally sustainable, convenient option.

-Bubi Bottle Website About

The 14 oz bottle in hot pink is the smaller of the three bottle sizes. It is not the smallest since they also have a baby bottle. You can use the bottle for hot or cold drinks which means this baby can be used for anything. I love that I can add my water, freeze it , and then carry the bottle with me all day. As the water thaws I have ice cold water all day.

As you can see the bottle folds up small. You use the carabiner to hold the folded bottle together. This is roughly the size of one of the smaller smart phones.

Once you remove the carabinger from around the bottle it pops up to full size. The reason I got the 14 oz was because I can easily drink the whole bottle of water. I have trouble getting through the bigger bottles.

Add in a cap and you are good to go! There are three different kinds of caps that you can get not counting the nipple for the baby bottle.

The flip cap is you basic cap for the bottles. It is also a pretty basic black color but against the pink of my bottle it is perfect.

One of the things I love about this cap is that it doesn’t take a lot of space in my lid basket. Some of the bottles I have had in the past have a large lid that leaves me with little space when p

When you flip open the lid you get a nipple to drink from. Now I know that many of you may worry about the nipple leaking.

When you close the lid it pinches the nipple to prevent leaking which is a great thing.

FOR THE PUPS

Can you say hello to the pet bowl? This little bowl is so perfect for those days when we are out and about with the dog. You know with spring and summer coming we will be hiking more and this is going to come in handy.

The pet bowl has a carabinger just like the bottle to make carry it around easier for you. You could clip it onto your bike or even the leash when you are out and about.

It screws onto the bottle so you attach it to your bottle and go. It keeps your bottle closed and allows you to have the little bowl handy.

As you can see it is a tight seal so you don’t have to worry about leakage. I haven’t had a problem with it yet.

You push the top up to make the bowl pop out and then unscrew it.

Now, you have a bowl to pour water for your pet into. I will say that if we are out and out with Turner he will drink two of these bowls. He is a large dog though and we have to stop him from over drinking.

I love that I can clip these on the outside of my bag and they are right on hand. It leaves my bag open for other things allowing me to utilize my space more effectively. Bubi Bottle is a life saver. Trust me when you only have a limited amount of space you have to take what will fit. Bubi Bottle products fold up small enough to go into my purse or even my carry on when I travel.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I could not love Bubi Bottle anymore than I already do. This bottle has been a god send. I can fold it up and toss it into my gym bag, clip it it on my arm band when I am out walking. I know that this is a bottle that will be in use until it falls apart and I am physically not able to use it anymore.

My daughter has broke several different ‘unbreakable’ bottles, or at least the lids. This one looks more flexible.
