About the Book:
Memoirs of a Broken Girl: Happiness Beyond details – through an eclectic collection of poetry – the angst of growing up as an uncertain and shy young woman, and the hope that can develop within despite all the trials and tribulations of life. Memoirs has quite a few dark poems, many of which detail sadness, death, and uncertainty; but it also has interwoven positive and light poetry about love and life and the future.
My Thoughts:
I am not usually a poetry person, in fact I read very little of it. However R.D Gaze does a wonderful job showing what a young girl goes through as she grows into a woman. There were several poems that made me cry but I came away from it better for it.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
