Every Monday Crossroads Media Hub has a link up where you can share what you are planning to eat for the week. It is a great way to share your menu ideas and we also have a recipe that we share with you all. It is usually a link back to the recipe so that you can enjoy the creation by the blogger it is meant to be enjoyed by. Be sure that you head over and check it out but first take a peak at we will be having this week for dinner below.
I only plan out dinner or well I should say loosely plan out dinner because I never really know what we are going to want to eat from day-to-day and to be honest breakfast and lunch around here is usually whatever, whomever is cooking is in the mood to make. It can range from cereal to pancakes to sandwiches to pizza. So we just never know. I plan out dinner because I am the one who makes that meal everyday. So here are our dinner choices this week:
Meal 1: Broccoli Spanish Fettuccine, salad, garlic bread
Meal 2: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, Egg Rolls (my aunt makes these and freezes them for me, they are to die for!)
Meal 3: Crock Pot BBQ Pork sandwiches, cole slaw, fries
Meal 4: meatloaf, potatoes, sweet peas, rolls
Meal 5: SOS : if you are unfamiliar with this it can be a variety of things. For us it is usually whatever leftovers there are for the last couple of days to clean out the fridge. Nothing stays in our fridge for more than a week.
Meal 6: sub sandwiches and chips (I make these sandwiches, they are not store-bought at all.)
Meal 7: Chicken Pot Pie
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

It looks like you have planned a yummy week of meals. I usually have meals planned in the fall because I use my slow cooker a lot. My hubby likes the comfort food when the temperatures are cooler. He doesn’t like heavy, hot meals during the summer, s I am gearing up now for my favorite slow cooker recipes 🙂
