When Gina Koehnke asked me to review her Mia Bella Candles business I thought “Sure , I like candles and they really can’t be worst that some.” So I agreed to review the candles and I must tell you that my nonchalant thought attitude was way off base.
From Mia Bella Website {About}:
Bob Scocozzo and Charles Umphred were introduced to home-based network marketing in 1988. They have reached top-level positions in every company they were associated with and have had organizations of over 50,000 distributors globally. Carmen and Lynn Milazzo started making candles in their kitchen over a decade ago. They were one of the first companies to introduce candles to the fundraising industry and built a huge, thriving business in retail, wholesale and fundraising. While doing a “candle fundraiser” for his son’s sports team, Bob started talking to the manufacturers of those candles, Carmen and Lynn Milazzo. They told Bob about a new candle they had been working on for a few years which was made from “alternative” ingredients such as vegetables and other natural, renewable sources. What got Bob’s attention was the fact that this new candle burned practically soot free and it smelled better than any candle Bob had ever smelled. Scocozzo and Umphred asked the Milazzo’s for an exclusive contract to market the candle nationwide and eventually internationally. They named the new candle Mia Bella after Bob’s daughter who Bob calls “My good luck charm!” There are three ways to make money with Scent-Sations: RETAIL, FUNDRAISING and RESIDUAL.
Gina sent me a 16 oz. Coconut and Lime Candle for review. The first thing you notice abut any candle is the smell. Since I have the world’s most sensitive nose I could smell the candle before I opened the package. There is only one word to describe this candle: Paradise! It made me feel as though I was on a tropical island somewhere. So took the candle and used it in my bathroom. I like to once a week relax with candles in the tub and this was the perfect candle to not only relax but to take me away from the stress of the week. Mia Bella candles are very affordable, this 16oz is only $19.95.
The Coconut Lime is part of Mia Bella”s Classic Collection and there are larger sizes in this collection. Mia Bella also has a Bakery Collection where all the candles look like pies, cinnamon buns, and other baked goods. If you are looking for something a little more modern try their Designer Collection or even the Wine Collection.
Mia Bella is much more than just candles! They also have Beauty products as well as Bath and Body. There is a finishing powder that I can’t wait to try! You can keep up with all of the ins and outs by following Gina on Facebook.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
