I thought I would take a little time each Monday morning and share something fun with you. It could be a simple little story about something that happened or maybe just a picture. Just a little something that will help make the week begin a little bit brighter and on a better note. Mondays are extremely busy for me and I always feel like I am drowning on that day of the week. Not to mention that I can only have 1 cup of coffee a week now and I have chosen to have it on the day that I need it the most. I had to cut back drastically because of my blood pressure and blood sugar. So sit back and (I hope that you will) enjoy these little posts each week.
Easter for us isn’t celebrated with candy and lots of noise. I’m not sure why although I do make the kids small baskets each. We actually spent the day rather quietly for which I am very grateful.
Church and Old Movies
We attended he sunrise service at church because it is tradition and important for us. Then we came home and watch old biblical based movies like The Ten Commandments and Jesus of Nazareth. The kids are like me and really enjoy older movies and since these are truly graphic I am okay with them watching them.
A Small Dinner
We had a small dinner with pork tenderloin as our meat. Since Friday was Good Friday we didn’t eat any meat and then Saturday we ate soup so we had a good hearty meal. All I all our day was good and we loved it.

I wasn’t able to make it to Sunday mass or Good Friday mass at that..I’ve been so sick with the flu, I’ve never missed either masses and I’ve been so unhappy with that 🙁

Sounds like a really relaxing Easter day. We went to church, and then I made an Easter dinner since my parents were coming over to eat with us. It was a busy day, but enjoyable.

Busy but enjoyable can be good too!
