Monday Morning Coffee Break 5/2/16

May 02, 2016 | Rita

I thought I would take a little time each Monday morning and share something fun with you. It could be a simple little story about something that happened or maybe just a picture. Just a little something that will help make the week begin a little bit brighter and on a better note. Mondays are extremely busy for me and I always feel like I am drowning on that day of the week.

Not to mention that I can only have 1 cup of coffee a week now and I have chosen to have it on the day that I need it the most. I had to cut back drastically because of my blood pressure and blood sugar. So sit back and (I hope that you will) enjoy these little posts each week.

Always Something

Life has a funny way of making sure things never get boring. At least that has been the case around here and to be honest a little boredom could be a good thing. There juts never seems to be enough time in the day although I have been working really hard to get everything done I can tell you this I have to take way more breaks than I have ever had to take before. That can be a good thing though, I lay down during the day and the twins climb up on the bed and take a nap with me. I read a book the other day and I had to put it down a dozen times because it simply hit a little to close to home and I found myself in tears.  Then the twins will do something and I start laughing. Children are simply the best medicine in the world.

Children are the best medicine! Last week, while subbing, I had to talk in front of half the school, and I don’t usually have to do that. I was so nervous, and one of my students noticed, and gave me a hug!

I agree that there never seems to be enough hours in the day. My husband does a good job of keeping me grounded and realistic with what I can take on and I’m grateful for that.

My kids have saved me and kept me happy more times than I can count. Love the spirit and innocence of little kids!
