I thought I would take a little time each Monday morning and share something fun with you. It could be a simple little story about something that happened or maybe just a picture. Just a little something that will help make the week begin a little bit brighter and on a better note. Mondays are extremely busy for me and I always feel like I am drowning on that day of the week.
Not to mention that I can only have 1 cup of coffee a week now and I have chosen to have it on the day that I need it the most. I had to cut back drastically because of my blood pressure and blood sugar. So sit back and (I hope that you will) enjoy these little posts each week.
Working On It
One of the biggest things I have learned about myself is that I don’t manage things well when I am at home and on my own. I allow everything and everyone stress me out to the point that my blood pressure goes sky-high. One of the biggest things that has helped was when my brother and I sat down and he helped me work out a budget where money wasn’t stressing me out. Then we sat down together and developed a better and more efficient work schedule for me and school schedule for the kids. My sister in-law and I both developed meal plans for our homes and I saved some freezer meal techniques that I am certain are going to help me. I am so grateful to Charlie for helping me and I helped him as well! I taught him how to grocery shop and save money not to mention did his taxes. It has taken me several months to put the work schedule into effect because I had other health issues but I am now working on it and feeling pretty good about it.

How nice that you have a brother to be able to help you out! It is hard to do things on your own, especially all that you do. It’s nice that you helped him out too. I know schedules have really helped me out too. It helps get done what needs to get done.

As a relative newcomer to Rita Reviews, I didn’t know that you were coping with health issues and stress. Good for you for finding solutions, or at least pathways toward solutions, to help you manage your situation. “Working on it” is often more difficult than many people realize, and I found your Monday Morning Coffee Break inspiring. Thank you, and continued good luck.
