Movies Over The weekend

Movies Over the Weekend

We watch movies over the weekend sometimes and  this weekend we actually watched a couple of movies and I am here to tell you there are some crazy movies out there. We watched Vampires Suck and I am not sure how we ended up watching it but it was the dumbest movie ever. The entire movie made fun of the Twilight movies ( which I have not seen) and the guys spent half the time shirtless.

The other movie we watched was the remake of Total Recall which was actually better than the original. Not to mention if you have to spend most if a movie watching a shirtless guy Colin Farrell is not a bad choice. I watched The Impossible on my own and if you have not seen this one it is really good. It is a true story about one family’s experience during the tsunami that hit Thailand during Christmas. I cried from beginning to end but I can only pray that if that ever happened to us we could be as strong.

I also watch Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters with my mom and I will say that I rally liked this one. It was funny, had action, and even a little drama.  What I learned is that if I pick the movies we watch pretty good ones but someone else does there is no telling! I don’t always get a lot of time to watch movies anymore because I am so busy. I rarely have the time to review movies anymore and I realized that is something that I miss doing. I haven’t written any movie reviews in a while but I am going to work on doing some real soon.

My grandson went to the movies this weekend to see Turbo and he loved it. I use to watch a lot more movies than I do anymore.

I havent seen the twilight movies either other than 15 min of the first one enough to know i would never try watching one again. I thought the remake of total recall was better too! i like hansel & gretel too! I havent seen the impossible yet.

Total Recall was really good! Hansel ad Gretel surprised me because I hoped it was good but it was better than I had expected it to be.

I would like to see the Impossible because it sounds so interesting. I have not heard of this movie, so I will be looking out for it. I like watching movies on the weekend, since most tv shows are on Hiatus.

It is great and sad all at the same time. There were scenes that were really hard to watch.

I have two kids at home so yes we watched the teen beach movie on disney channel like 2 or 3 times. I was not so crazy about it but when you have kids you have no other choice.

I haven’t seen Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters before. I bet I’d like that one, too. It’s so hard to find time in my busy schedule to sit, relax, and watch a movie!

I don’t get a lot of time to watch movies either. I think it will be easier when my son gets older but right now with him being 3 I don’t get to watch much.

Okay ~ I am beginning to think that I actually DO live under a rock, but I just don’t know it! I haven’t heard of any of these movies. I guess I spend too much time watching the oldies on TCM. I got hooked when I first had kidney failure a year ago and I watch every day! The Impossible sounds good, I will have to watch that one on a day when I am in need of a good cry!

I watched a trailer for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters but at the time I didn’t know if I would enjoy it. But I keep hearing it’s great and your positive review has convinced me that I will have to give it a chance.
