My Biggest Toy Organization Challenge

Feb 22, 2016 | Rita

My biggest toy organization challenge

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. However all opinions expressed are 100% my own and do not reflect those of the brand

Challenge is most likely not the correct word for the mountain of toys that we seem to be swimming under. You would think that since I was going through everything and cleaning things out that it would be easier but alas it is not. We have several boxes of things that still need to be gone through and decision made about what to do with them.

So what is my biggest problem? That would be space! I have no space for storage and the toys tend to end up all over the house. Of course this only seems to happen on days when someone drops by unexpected and I am certain they look around and think I am the world’s worst housekeeper. That is how I feel! It just seems that no matter how hard I try to keep the toys under control it never works out. I have storage tote upon storage tote full of toys that really need to be gotten rid of. That glorious picture above? That is the extra closet and as you can see there is barely room for what we have in there. All of those boxes are toys! Something has to give in this particular area and as much as I hate to upset the kids I really think it time to get rid of some toys!

Have You Checked Out Pley?

Pley is really an interesting way for your kids to experience toys without you having to experience the headache of clutter and more that seems to come with toys.  They offer a large selection of toys including their newly added  doll clothes, electronics, and preschool toys all of which also are things I always seem to be on the look out for.  You don’t buy these toys, it’s more like you lease them. Pley delivers toys to your door and when your children are finished playing with them then you simply return it for a new one. Sounds lovely right?

Oh that is really a neat idea! We have so many boxes of older toys he does not play with, this would be perfect for us!

We have only one large closet, that actually has a door to hide my storage items. And today we start Spring cleaning 🙁
