I have  curly hair and drying it can be a bit difficult at times. I recently discovered My Amazing  Blowdry Secret and I will tell you that it has managed to cut my blowdry time in half.  This trio of products adds shine and gives me a really nice bounce using the Virgin Coconut Oil Hydrosol (VCOH) Accelerating Dispersion Matrix which disperses water throughout the hair, to help it evaporate faster.

The 3 products are:

 

  • My Amazing Blow Dry Secret Shampoo — A paraben and sulfate free shampoo that’s safe for color-treated hair with concentrated antioxidants, acai fruit extract, moisturizers and softeners.
  • My Amazing Blow Dry Secret Conditioner — A creamy, lightweight color-safe conditioner that preps hair for the perfect blow out that enhances silkiness and shine.
  • My Amazing Blow Dry Secret Quick Dry Shake’n Spray — An exclusive two-part formula with quick dry agents in the clear half, and hydrators in the pink half.

I first used the products all together which is amazing! However since this line is a little pricier than what I would normally spend (starting at $25 a bottle) I tried to mix it in with some of other products. I used just the shampoo and while it works okay I found that the other conditioner didn’t pair well with it. So I used just the conditioner with my regular shampoo and it worked great.

The Shake’n Spray worked really well regardless of what shampoo or conditioner I used. I no longer have to spend 20 minutes drying my hair because I can do it now in 10. My hair looks and feels a millions times better. I honestly didn’t think this product would work. The biggest thing is that I forget to shake it up before I use it. Shaking is important!

  1. This is definitely a product my oldest daughter could use. It takes her forever to dry her hair because it is very long and like yours, curly as well. Glad you reviewed, thank you

  2. Maybe it is from the chemo I don’t know, but every time I lose some hair and it comes back in it is wavier than ever and coarser than a dog’s. It takes a long time to blow dry too as it seems to hold more water. I like these products (their packaging is nice too). Something I think I could def use!

  3. I have very fine, straight hair. The problem I have is that my hair can begin to dry in minutes—before I get to the blow dryer. But, I am on the lookout for hair care that doe snot contain the harsh ingredients that help to damage my hair, and am wanting something to condition it. The coconut oil might be great for me.

  5. I’d be very interested in trying this on my six year old. Her hair isn’t long or curly, but it’s quite thick and it takes a long time to dry. Or maybe it just seems like it takes a long time because she moans about getting her hair dried the while time. Anything that could cut the dry time would be a huge blessing!

  6. My hair is fine and thick at the same time, so it takes a lot of time for it to dry. This product sounds wonderful. I am always looking for something new for my hair. My hair gets “bored” with hair products so it’s important to switch it up.

  7. I usually just let my hair air dry because i never have time to blow dry. This sounds interesting though! I’d love to give it a shot!

  8. I think this is very good to have when blow drying out your hair! i always need time to fix my hair, and when blow drying, I need to get some of this stuff to cut down on the time.

  9. Sounds like something I need to try! I have long, think hair and it takes me a good half an hour to dry my hair.

  10. Man oh man! I need this for my daughter’s hair. She has SUPER thick curly hair. It takes me 45 mins to an hour to blow dry it. Even then sometimes it’s not totally dry. I think I would just try the Shake and spray and see how it goes. Thanks for the review.

  11. This would be an amazing product to have. i wake up with horrible bed hair and it take away to get it dried and straightened.
