My Mason Jar Monthly: Brings a Little South Home

One thing that I always have acquainted with the south is mason jars. Now I know that people from all over use them for all sorts of reasons so please don’t get upset with me. Think about it for a moment though…..every south movie, book, or whatever most likely has had a mason jar in it at some point. Whether it was a woman canning preserves or a good ol’boy drinking moonshine (which by the way is so gross and don’t even get me started on the Moonshine Jelly) from the jar. I love mason jars and have several although I totally suck at canning. That is why I was so interested in My Mason Jar Monthly.

My Mason Jar Monthly is a subscription box that sends you a mason jar each month filled with all sorts of wonderful items. It is a mother daughters business and one that I am more than certain that you all will find unique. I admit that the first time I heard of it and the fact that it had something to do with mason jars I thought it had something to do with food or the kitchen. It does not! It is filled with beauty items that is sure to make you melt. You see all of that in the image up above. All of that came inside my jar. Isn’t that a ton of stuff?

 

There were so many little things that I almost forget all about the mason jar itself. Talk about an “oh the horror”  moment. Sometimes I swear y’all I have ADD on top of my OCD. I was like that dog in the movie Up where he’s talking and then yells “squirrel.” This little box was full!  It included:

I told you there was a lot of stuff in there! 😉 The mason jar is awesome! It is 24 ounce jar and love the little koozie thing around it. I don’t know what that is called exactly but it adds a bit of whimsy to the jar. This particular jar is currently on my desk holding all of my pens. I needed something a little extra and pretty on there.

My favorite beauty item were the hydrating socks that were a bit different. I put those puppies on one evening when I was attempting to relax after a rather stressful day.

Sexy right? These felt so weird! They were kind of squishy once I put my feet in them. They reminded a little of the hot wax that the girl at the nail place puts on my feet and legs. Except this wasn’t hot at all.

My feet look awesome don’t they? I didn’t want to get up and walk around at all because I didn’t want my feet to get rough again. I can promise you that as soon as I find where to get these I will be buying more. I need to do this like weekly!
