A Must Have: My Military & Money App

You all know I grew up in a military family and in during so there are things that I have learned to do over the years that is simply ingrained in me. I can pack an entire house and move within the space of two days if needed. I have an emergency bag, packed, and ready to go at all times (this comes from always having to have my dad’s flight bag ready), I am not above flying stand-by, and I can be dropped anywhere in the world and survive. You just learn those things! You also learn that budgeting and money when you are in the service is not as easy as it in when you aren’t.

Your bank many times in on the other side of the world and while your paycheck are steady they are not as always as large as many people think. That is why I am so thrilled about the My Military Money app from the partnership of  McGraw Hill Financial and the Better Business Bureau. The free  My Military & Money  app and website features essential resources and tools to help military members make informed decisions about money.

I am really excited about this app because it has tools that allow me to plan how to pay off credit card debt, create a savings plan, and much more. I also love that there is tips and information for deployment which is crucial to any military family. Not to mention tips and information on retirement which is something that I am working on planning for myself. While this app is geared towards young military families just about anyone will find it useful. You put in as much of your financial information or as little as you want.
