This weekend has been extremely crazy on a busy scale compared to any other day. Saturday, I accompanied my friend Karen for a photography assignment which nearly took a whole day. Followed by a hectic Sunday morning, when I had to attend a few urgent matters which were pending.
Thus, when you’ve had a heated day or a weekend, you just find yourself longing for a bit of “me” time. Sometimes I just start craving for it so much that it gets me a little upset. So, I just made a pact with my self to wind up a busy day doing something that I like. Here are my top 3 ways to unravel after a busy day.
Reading
This is an amazing way to unwind, after a hectic day for anyone who’s a book nut. Well, I am one as I love reading books, it makes me feel like I am on my own journey to wonderland.
Playing bingo
Bingo as a game always fascinated me since I was 12. But never really got a chance to experience the game until now, when I came across this impressive website www.gamevillage.com. I don’t even have to leave my comfort zone, I can just curl up on my sofa and play a game or two to rejuvenate myself from a busy day
Cookery
I am not much of a cook but at times I love cooking savory dishes. I adore the opportunity to eat and learn something new. This often helps me wind up a busy day on a good note.
I am looking for more activities which are definitely fun but doesn’t require extra energy. So, if you have any unwinding secrets, feel free to add your points via comments.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I read every night in bed. It really does help me relax, but I don’t read boring stuff just to fall asleep, lol, so I sometimes wind up losing sleep!

I love cooking! I also use art to wind down. Any kind of drawing/painting is great, but so are crafts!

I bought some of the adult coloring books and find coloring even for 5-10 minutes relaxing. I’m also a big fan of reading to end the day.

I am an animal person, and combine it with the love of reading. Especially in the colder months, there is nothing better then a good book and a warm cat laying there keeping you warm. I also garden, if it has to be low key try container gardening!
