I have been working very hard to do more things with the kids. With the separation I feel it is even more important that they get the attention they need. I have also been working on getting out of my own comfort zone more. That is why I was so thrilled when Napier Outdoors agreed to work with me. We have camped plenty of times all together as a family, with me doing very little of the work. However this time it was just me and the kids!
Napier sent me their Backroadz SUV Tent and I had to want a little while for the weather to corporate so we could camp comfortably. We have gone to the state park before and camped but since it was just me I thought a trial run in the backyard was a great start. The tent comes in a carrying case which I love because it makes it easy to carry. I unrolled everything and it checked the instructions. I will say that this is by far one of the easiest tents to put together. Not that I have put many together but as a first timer, it was a breeze!
Now the thing that makes this tent unique is that it actually attaches to your SUV and give you much more room and access to the back of the SUV. There was much discussion about this in my home as we had some concerns but once you actually read the instructions and see the tent up I quickly understood how it all worked. I didn’t pull the car up (as we have a Honda) and I didn’t want to pull it into the backyard.
As I said it went up very easily. You unroll everything and then slide in the poles. Once it they are both in there then you stake them to the ground and add the rain cover for some extra privacy. Without it all you have is screen on two sides. There is plenty of room inside the one side of the tent. When you add in the SUV side you have a space large enough for a family. It is great to have the food and supplies in the car (less packing and unpacking) yet right there at your fingertips. Another good thing with small ones in diapers means changing them in the back of the car and not on the ground.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

hubby often travels in his truck, and loves to go fishing and tailgate… I think he’d love the Sportz Truck Tent #57 Series for those moments when he is with the guys, or even to have it on hand for emergencies.

I love the Tent. But to go with it I would love to have the Sportz Air Mattress. I like the idea of not having to sleep on the ground or those thins camping pads we have. Having a air matress would make it so much nicer to wake up rested in the morning.

I like the Sportz SUV Tent with Screen Room because no matter what I do, I get attacked by mosquitoes. The screen room lets you enjoy the outdoors without getting eaten alive.
