I am a huge National Geographic fan so any time we were thrilled to be given the chance to check out and enjoy National Geographic Kids Books Holiday Gift Pack. I can remember getting the new National Geographic every month when I was growing up. I wish they had the kids books back then. If they did I never knew about it and am a little bummed out.
We start out the the 2021 Almanac and let me tell you that this is a book you will love. It has a little bit of everything and I will say it is the book the older kids jumped on.
As you can see the pictures are vibrant and the stories are all something that you will learn as your children are learning.
The Coolest Stuff on Earth book is simply awesome! I flipped through this twice and while Sam was in the hospital it was one of the books I left with him so he could look at and read.
I never thought about why the visors are gold on astronauts’ helmets. I love that the kids can learn things that are so cool! This is a book that even I am learning from.
Why? is the book that was fought over the most. The older kids loved all of the information in it while the younger ones enjoyed the pictures.
This is a book that will come in handy during homeschool the rest of this year and possibly next. There is all sorts of information that can be added ot our lessons.
The Little Kids First Big Book of Why was perfect for the younger kids. It will be adding to our homeschool lessons as well.
Okay you can see from the picture above why I think this book is so great. I mean I can tell you why we use a toilet but I’m sure my reasons aren’t the true reasons. I loved this and am s thrilled to learn more about it.
The Little Kids First Board Book Ocean is too cute for words. James loved it as he is at the age where he is beginning to discover his own love of books. I love that I can share that with him just as I have done with his father.
I just had to show this page with the clownfish. I know y’all are all thinking about Nemo as well!
Nerdlet Animals was my favorite book. It is all sort of nerdy, geeky things about animals. Who wouldn’t love that sort of thing?
Again, this book has vibrant pictures. There was more than a few facts about elephants (and many other animals) that I didn’t know or had never heard of.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
