Did you know that July was National Hotdog month? I didn’t either but it makes sense. There are so many BBQs and picnics but what about people who have gluten allergies? If you asked me a few years ago what Gluten was, I could not have told you. Allergies seem to be more and more common. Knowing personally how hard it is find allergy free foods makes it thrilling for me when I come across companies who tailor to those needs. Udi’s dedication to delicious tasting Gluten Free foods is definitely something to thrill over!
We received several different of Udi’s Gluten Free foods to try out. I was floored with how yummy and normal everything tasted. The cookies were unbelievably rich and fabulous ( Chocolate Chip Cookies, Raisin Oatmeal Cookies, Chocolate Brownies, and Snickerdoodles–MMMmmm!) The best part is that the kids did not know they were gluten free, neither did my sugar loving mom! The cookies last all of two days in our home but I was okay with everyone eating them because I knew that they were made the best possible ingredients.
The breads were just as great as the cookies but I will tell you that the hamburger buns are the biggest I have ever seen. I took them, split them in half and make garlic bread out of them. We had them with our pasta and no one was the wiser. They all thought these were the regular bread. The hotdog buns make even the plainest hotdog taste a million times better!
If you have food allergies or know someone who does then I suggest you tell them about UDI and all their wonderful products!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I was recently diagnose with gluten intolerance. This has actually been a life savor. I freeze my buns and pull them out as I need them. The rest of the family is okay and they get the regular stuff. They are pretty tasty.
