Last week I told you all about ordering produce and dairy products from Nature’s Garden Express. I promised that I would update you on how the items were, if they arrived on time, and more. So let me get right to! First of all I added things to my box on Tuesday last week and the site said I would receive my box on Thursday.
Which I did! It arrived via FedEx and was actually two boxes and not just one. Since I ordered over $100 (like $107) I was able to get free shipping. Now that is because I was in the free shipping zone. you would have to enter your zip code to see what zone you are in. I didn’t have a problem getting that much stuff. With the produce a lot of it is per item rather than per pound. Although there are a few per pound items. When I opened the first box I noticed my order was stuck (like a sticker) to the inside of the box. I like that because it shows they pay attention to detail.
The box was the cold stuff. As you can see it was packed well with more than enough cold packs keeping everything super cold. That padding was thick like installation (it wasn’t actual insulation) that helped keep the cold in. The milk and whipping cream, along with the frozen stuff each had a cold bag wrapped in the bag with it. If you look at the very top picture you can see how wonderful the produce looks.
The other box was fresh bread. I wish you all could taste this amazing bread! I got several loaves of different styles as well as hamburger buns (they were in a pack) and fresh bagels. I sent my brother pictures of everything as I was putting it away and he told me that he wasn’t liking me at all. Everything arrived safely although one banana end had gotten a little smooshed. Not a big deal, Ma ate it right away, it hadn’t even turned in color. The other thing was I wished that the whipping cream had a longer date but the container was small enough that I would use it quickly. Not to mention it came straight from the farm so I’m sure that don’t get the weeks the grocery store gets.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Nicely done! It’s pretty amazing that you can get such high-quality products delivered at a competitive price. I took a look at their website, and we’re well outside the free shipping zone, but if our plans to move come to fruition, we’ll be in the zone. Please do keep posting about how Nature’s Garden Express works out for you.
